ABOUT THE ORGANIZERS
Canada China Commercial Association (CCCA) is a registered non-profit organization in Alberta dedicated to the promotion and facilitation of trade development, business investment, innovation and technology exchange between Canada and China. Our principles include resource sharing, strength complementary, mutual benefit and cooperative development between all company and individual members.
With humble beginnings in 1988, the Calgary Immigrant Educational Society (CIES) has grown from a small volunteer-led initiative with only Mr. Salim M. Sindhu as its steward, to a 130+ staff not-for-profit charitable organization with two locations in north-east and south-east Calgary. CIES is devoted to assisting immigrants and low-income Canadians through various levels of language, employment training, and settlement programming. CIES has provided tens of millions of dollars’ worth of service to over 250,000 people in its 29-year history, and today, assists over 1,200 students a day, 6 days a week, with programs in-house and online.
